Watching "Boyhood" at Mt. Pleasant Theatre

A friend and I spent the evening at Mt. Pleasant Village, where we watched "Boyhood" at the historic Mt. Pleasant Theatre (675 Mount Pleasant Rd). It was an amazing experience for the old soul in me. They only took cash, had one screen, and did away with the previews. It was like being in the '50s.

The movie itself was brilliant. Who has ever heard of a movie being shot over twelve years? The plot seemed simple at first, but it was certainly multi-layered, relatable, and real.
