ONCE: The Musical in Toronto

It has been some time since I last saw a musical in Toronto. It was thus a privilege to see ONCE at Ed Mirvish Theatre (244 Victoria St). The musical was funny and heartwarming in more ways than I could have imagined. We arrived at our seats early and were treated to performances from the cast that later transitioned into the first act.

My favourite parts of the experience were sitting on the second row (it had to be said), drinking a Kronenbourg on stage during intermission, and hearing "Falling Slowly" sung live by Ian Lake and Trish Lindstrom. The entire cast is extremely talented. I highly recommend you all to see ONCE for a breath of fresh air and an evening well-spent at the theatre.
