Food from my childhood: Jollibee Chickenjoy

Food from my childhood

Inside the box

Immediately after landing and navigating through traffic in Manila, we stopped at a Jollibee to grab lunch. Jollibee is the Philippines' equivalent to McDonald's. However, it serves a variety of local dishes that sets it apart from the mega fast food chain. Most notably, Jollibee serves Chickenjoy, which comes with n pieces of chicken, gravy, and a small balot of rice. I have not had Chickenjoy in a long time but I am happy to report that its taste has not changed over the years.

Thank you to my uncle Ting for the delicious lunch! :)
